AN ODM faction allied to Budalangi MP Ababu Namwamba has prepared a parallel report on the chaos that led to the cancellation of the party’s national elections at Safaricom Kasarani on February 28.

Vihiga nominated MCA Reuben Ombima said Team Ababu has prepared its own report on
the “Men in Black” who disrupted the
elections.

“We are waiting for the report by the team that was tasked with investigating the Kasarani chaos and we shall also table ours because these people are well known,” he
said.

Ombima was speaking in Kakamega town yesterday.

He said fresh elections should be held in a month time to fill vacant slots.

“Members were told fresh elections would be held in two months but nothing has so far been reported,”
he said.

He said the caretaker committee of the party headed by Namwamba and nominated Senator Agnes Zani
has not held meetings to prepare for fresh elections.

Party national elections were called off after the “Men in Black”, destroyed ballot materials.

Party Leader Raila Odinga constituted a caretaker
committee comprising members from Namwamba and Zani’s camps .

Raila has been in the US for more than two months.

Kakamega county ODM branch chairman David Malala said the party dioes not have caretaker officials because they resigned ahead of the bitched polls.

“Let us know if the party is dead because party members are tired of waiting for elections which no
one is talking about,” he said.

He said that a suggestion by a team that was named to investigate the Kasarani chaos that the party
secretariat and elections board be disbanded is a decoy to delay the elections further.

Party elections board is chaired by Judy Pareno while the secretariat is headed by Magerer Langat
